Gaura Nitai.......

Yesterday was Lord Nithyananda's appearance day. I had to go to the temple, but because of some issues, I could not make it. My room-mates had been to the temple and they told me that I really missed it. However, they got me good prasad:-) and you know what, I had cakes, noodles etc...All these stuff was without eggs. That was really awesome.
Finally I downloaded the movie Michael Madan Kama rajan to my laptop. I need to watch this movie today after going home from office. It is such a wonderful movie. Now I have put Nayagan for downloading, hope that too gets completed without any issues.

Poonal Change

Yesterday I changed my poonal since one of the threads got cut. I had forgot the mantram that needs to be chanted while changing the poonal. However, I thought that I would search it on the net and would definitely give it. My search criteria in google was upanayanam change:-). However I did not get any good results. Then my friend DK told me that just put Poonal change and to my surprise it was the first one to appear on the screen. The site www.vishuji.com is really very good for this. The mantrams are perfectly correct on this site. I then changed my poonal and did also my sandhi. Also my roommate had to change his poonal. So I helped him to change his as well.
Rest of the day went only in reading. I completed all the fundamentals of DS again and also solved some challenging Algorithmic problems. Did not got to the temple because of this. At night, Sundar got some prasad from temple and we all had it together. Even sarva was there with us. It was a nice time. Then narayanan,sarva and myself chatted till 12:30am about various aspects of programming. It was really a very nice discussion.

Sri Sri Radha Neela Madhava at Seattle

These are the dieties of Radha Neela Madhava at Seattle (precisely Sammamish). Actually this photo was taken about 4 months earlier. Now we have good Altars for all the dieties and it looks wonderful. Thanks to Sarva and Naresh Prabhu for importing them from India.

Ekadasi Celebration

Yesterday, I had been to the Iskcon Temple in Sammamish. Since it was Ekadasi, we recited some cantos from the Bhagavad Gita'. It was such a wonderful time in the temple. Then we had prasadam which was fried potatoes, soup, kichidi and fruit salad. It was such transcendental to have such a prasad. Finally I got an oppurtunity to clean the temple. It was such a wonderful experience!!!!.
The seattle dieties are really very very beautiful. Here are the photos of Sri Sri Radha Neela Madhava, Gaura Nitai and Jagannatha, Baladev, Subhadra Mata.
